Being a free spirit with M.E.

Posted by – June 9, 2010

Yesterday I went to Venice to hang out with M.E..

We ate whole foods sandwiches, played dress-up, and took some pictures for her new site (www.meandblue.com).

I can’t wait to show you when it’s all done, it’s really going to do her store justice.

Late Post / Brown’s Cleaners

Posted by – February 26, 2010

I had a morning meeting today with Brown’s Cleaners of Santa Monica. We talked about building them a website.

Although they have an excellent reputation for being the best in the business internationally, they have almost no web presence. I’m going to help them along into the wide world of the internet.

UPDATE:

One of the many articles on Browns Cleaners. This one is from the LA Times:

BIG NEWS

Posted by – February 4, 2010

Most of you know how much I love to cook. Without a major goal/resolution for the new year, I decided to combine my love of design and cooking and books and write a cookbook.

And I’m very excited; it’s nearly all I’ve been thinking about. I’ve been spending nights and weekends preparing recipes, and the daytime dreaming about the look and feel of the book, the type of font I will use, and which of my recipes I will include.

So, I want my readers to be a part of this process. I’ve been trying to come up with names, and I’ve narrowed it down to a few. Now I just need your help deciding, to see what jumps out at you. (poll below)

The kind of name I’m looking for is one that feels special; like it’s a cookbook that your dear old grandmother passed down to you with all of her secret recipes. My target audience isn’t necessarily a cooking pro; it’s more of a beginner cook (vegan or not) that just wants to try making some delicious food.

Name for my Cookbook?

A Treasury of Vegan Recipes

The Kitchen & The Garden Patch

A Handbook of Vegan Cookery

Four-and-Twenty Blackberries

ps. mindy is also the baby in the pink below, one of my best friends that lives too far away.
