Dylan Champion from Shapes of Race Cars just told me that the television program Gossip Girl is going to be featuring a song from their album (World’s End) during the show on Monday Night. Look for my face on the album at the end of the episode!

Well, that was too narcissistic for my taste.

Getting Inspired

I’ve been continuing to work on the cover and inside illustrations for my cookbook The Kitchen and The Garden Patch

Here’s what’s been inspiring me lately. A little bit of deco, a little arts and crafts. Everything reminiscent of nature and all its beauty. Stylized but simplified floral illustrations and thin outlines, and big blocks of color. Everything from William Morris to Paul Poiret, from George Brandt to Felix Albrecht. And some more below:
