Duygu is one of my friends I met in Turkey; she’s been living in Munich and Amsterdam for over 2 years
çok teşekkürler! öptüm canım <3

I should have mentioned before:
Public School’s site is beautiful. I’m not afraid to admit that I’m absolutely in love with their aesthetic and theme. It’s brilliant.
My favorite touches are the “In Attendance” roll call style list of designers working with them, and of course, “Social Studies”.
A blog of cooking with love. Made just for you.
This will be a place for book news, things to veganize, cooking blogs I love, cooking wish-lists, and info on bookmaking and self-publishing (I’m learning as I go along).

En Guete!
balancing out the photos with some design stuff.
8′ x 4′ banner to hang in Spaceland’s venues. working on it.

it looks like “A Treasury of Vegan Recipes” is winning. For me, its either between that or “The Kitchen and The Garden Patch.” Both have the kind of feeling I’m looking for in my cookbook.

PS. I started a blog for my book and cooking adventures. http://www.thekitchenandthegardenpatch.com/
It may or may not be the name of the book, but I thought it made a good blog name.
i have a stack of correspondence to catch up on. i’m hoping to tackle that this weekend
my mom really liked the birthday package i sent
instead of wrapping paper i used photos from national geographics from the 60’s

Most of you know how much I love to cook. Without a major goal/resolution for the new year, I decided to combine my love of design and cooking and books and write a cookbook.
And I’m very excited; it’s nearly all I’ve been thinking about. I’ve been spending nights and weekends preparing recipes, and the daytime dreaming about the look and feel of the book, the type of font I will use, and which of my recipes I will include.
So, I want my readers to be a part of this process. I’ve been trying to come up with names, and I’ve narrowed it down to a few. Now I just need your help deciding, to see what jumps out at you. (poll below)
The kind of name I’m looking for is one that feels special; like it’s a cookbook that your dear old grandmother passed down to you with all of her secret recipes. My target audience isn’t necessarily a cooking pro; it’s more of a beginner cook (vegan or not) that just wants to try making some delicious food.
